Faux Pink Pearl Lariat Necklace

I was struck by the idea for this necklace when I found my grandmother's costume jewelry. It seemed like a great tribute to her for me to make a new necklace out of the broken faux pearl necklace that I had found in the box.

This necklace is loosely based on the lariat or rosary style necklaces with the string of pearls forming a pendant in the middle of the chain. The chain itself is 9 inches long and closes with a gold plated clasp. The strand of faux pearls is 3 inches long and has quite a bit of movement to it.
